Kirk Work

Papa (Kirk) dropped Samuel off at a birthday party. He then came over to 9 Lambert to fix a messy hot air duct in the kitchen - plan was to replace a poorly installed floor duct with a toe kick duct under the cupboards. He brought his tools and visited a Home Depot with Grandpa to get new duct pipes. A few hours later a much improved duct was working and Kirk had filled in the floor duct hole and covered it with some matching flooring Grandpa had. Thanks!

Meanwhile David enjoyed some Thomas the Train time with Grant and had a good nap.

Bowman Family Brunch

Grandpa was busy cooking peameal bacon and making coffee for the Bowman family brunch when Papa, the Chelsea boys  and Boots arrived for a Christmas/New Year's brunch (Maman was working today)..

Soon cousin Gavin joined in the fun. The boys opened a giant Christmas cracker and had hats, toys and quiz questions to share.

Then the boys settled in to watch some Thomas Christmas movies.

Soon it was time to eat together.

Samuel and David presented Grant with a birthday pineapple.

After lunch it was time for a few gifts. David helped pass them out. David was happy to get some new pjs and Gavin and Sam liked their new toys.

While David had his nap, Papa and Sam constructed the new transformer. Then they tested out some snow markers from Valarie, first on a game of tic-tac-toe and secondly on a snowman.

When David woke up, he played train with Grant. The boys had fun with "magic" rice krispie squares which stuck to their hands.

Ok Boots, wake up - time to go home with the boys...

Two Days with the Chelsea boys

December 29-30, 2015

Samuel was on Christmas holidays so he spent two days with Grandpa, Barbara and Grant. Although David's Montessori School was open, he decided to visit us for two days too.

What did we do together?

...read with Grandpa, talk to Grant, make rice krispie squares, play hockey, have fun in the snow, set up Grant's train, play Wii tennis, eat shredded wheat with Grant, watch cartoons, and heat/eat some raclette...  fun times together.
