Strawberries+

We started today picking strawberries at the Richmond Nursery – we went early because it was going to be a very hot day.  The berries were at their peak so we came home with a large supply of fresh strawberries.  We gave some to Jenny Craddock next door – she loves berries! For lunch we made strawberry milkshakes – yum!  After lunch, Grant and David had fun with David’s new search and find book. Before we left to meet Maman, the boys enjoyed the cool water of the sprinkler.

Splash Pad Fun and Le Cirque de Soleil

Our Quebec boys were finished school but Ontario kids were still in, so they had full time use of the playground and splash pad in Leslie Park on this hot day.  Grandpa drove them over in the morning and they played until lunchtime.

They enjoyed Grandpa’s big hot dogs for lunch.

Then they watched some of their favourite TV shows.

The boys had an early supper of “dinosaurs” and then they headed to the Canadian Tire Centre with Maman and Papa. Our whole family was impressed with the acrobat skills of “Corteo” performed by the Cirque de Soleil.

Science and Technology Museum Visit

It was the first day of summer vacation for Sam.  We decided to visit the newly renovated Museum of Science and Technology Museum. Papa brought the boys over at 10am to join Grant and Barbara. Grant treated us all to admission including the amazing Lego Art of the Brick exhibit.
