More Fun

When Grandpa, Barbara and Grant dropped in to visit the boys, they were busy playing a computer game.  Papa installed the new battery that Grandpa brought in Sam’s ATV.  The boys were soon roaring around the yard.  Their friends Ross and Fiona came over to play for awhile.  Papa prepared supper – hamburgers, chicken tournados and salad with Grandpa’s chocolate Toblerone for dessert.  After supper, more jumping on the trampoline – happy boys – check them out in the video…

Battery, Chickens, Birds and Cookies

Grandpa, Barbara and Grant dropped in to visit the boys on their way to the cottage. Karine was watering her plants and the boys were playing outside, as usual. Grandpa had decided to replace the old battery in Sam’s John Deere tractor, so Papa removed it and gave it to Grandpa so he could find another one the same…  Meanwhile Maman brought out some treats for the chickens – Boots decided to try it too.  Then she and the boys continued their game of Monopoly on the deck. Papa mentioned the bird’s nest in the shed…  He showed some photos he had taken of the baby birds in the nest.  They had fledged but Mama bird – an Eastern Phoebe - was still around and darted away quickly when we approached the nest.  Just as Grandpa was leaving the two Dads kicked off Father’s Day weekend with some Dad’s cookies.

New Bike Trail

Today the Bowman boys were busy with rope climbing/trampoline jumping at home. They were proud to show Grandpa, Barbara and Grant their new bike trail which went all around their property.  They had set it up themselves and soon added some new features with Papa’s help.  Some neighbour friends gave it a try too.  Very impressive!
