On their way home from the cottage Grandpa, Barbara and
Grant stopped for a short visit to wish Boots a Happy Birthday and to play with
the Bowman boys.

More Cottage Time
July 7-10 2018
Summer holidays were here! It was time for enjoying the lake
fishing and swimming, playing games together, tubing, canoeing, swimming
sliding… oops the raft and slide
disappeared one morning and had to be retrieved by Grandpa and the boys. Another
morning we went biking on the new paved trail by Blue Sea Lake. We stopped for
lunch and a swim. When we started back,
Grant’s bike had a flat tire so he had to be rescued by Grandpa. The boys
pedaled back to Messines with Barbara and waited at the play structure. When we were all together again we stopped
for cool treats then returned to the cottage for stories and games. When it was
time for boys to go home, we stopped enroute at Mont Morissette and the boys
climbed to the top of the lookout tower.
We also checked out caves at the Kazabazua Creek and some sandhill
cranes beside the road. It was a good summer visit with great weather and fun
activities.
