After a warm morning spring skiing on Trail 50, Grant,
Grandpa and Barbara dropped in for a visit with the Chelsea
boys and Boots. Samuel was excited to show us FIVE
pails on trees he had watched Papa tap this morning.
Then we enjoyed a soup and sandwich picnic on the front
deck. David got up from his nap to join us.
After lunch it was time to fill the bird feeder. David checked out the sap pails.
The boys enjoyed a swing and play on the deck with Papa and
it was time for the visitors to go home...
Luckily for Grandpa, we spotted a large red-shouldered hawk,
not far away, beside Highway 5.
