Papa's Birthday and a Surprise Early Christmas Gift

Grandpa, Barbara & Grant were invited to stop for supper on our way to the cottage. It was papa's birthday the net day, so we came to celebrate.

Pepi and Mami were looking after David earlier in the day, sine his daycare was still closed.

Although it was cool, Papa and Maman wanted to cook outdoors on the fire pan.

We were all surprised when Pepi announced that a Christmas gift was in the car.  It was a trampoline!  Kirk and Grant assembled it while dinner was cooking.

We had an outdoor picnic supper; the boys could not wait to try the trampoline.

There was a short break for birthday cake from La Cigale, then back to the jumping.

Stella and Levi came by to try the fun.

David's daycare provider was having some health issues, so Grandpa picked up David at the Mill and brought him home for the day.  As Grandpa was feeling a bit under the weather, he really appreciated Grant playing with David and entertaining him until lunch and nap time.  David was still sleeping when Maman called to say she was coming, so Grandpa got him up and changed him all ready fro the trip to his place.  We all had fun together.

70-70-70 Birthday Party

It was Grandpa's joint birthday party with cousins Anne & Bruce.  All the relatives and friends joined them at the Manotick Mill, except David who was not well and had to stay home with Maman.

Sam had a good time fishing and playing with the other kids.  Everyone enjoyed a tour of Watson's Mill.
