Wednesday
Man brought the boys to 9 Lambert mid-morning on her way to
work on Wednesday. Samuel's teachers were on strike and David had a mild case
of pink eye. Playing with the train and practicing Wii bowling were fun. Sam
helped Grandpa make Christmas cookies and he designed a pretty birthday card
for Maman.
While David had a good nap, Samuel enjoyed the Christmas
Santa, looked at a book with Grandpa and played a game of Curious George with
Barbara
Thursday
On Thursday David returned to Montessori and Sam spent a
busy day with us. We started with hot
chocolate and playtime at McDonald's.
After practicing his Wii bowling, he helped Barbara set up a
picnic lunch. Then Barbara, Grant and Sam visited the Merivale Bowling Alley.
This was really fun. Luckily they had a children's lane with side bumpers.
Check out Sam in action videos:
Sam's final score would have been much higher if he hadn't
stepped on the throw line three times. With practice, he showed very good
bowling skill.
After bowling, Grandpa, Grant and Sam delivered our pine
needles to the bird care centre. Sam enjoyed feeding Chickadees and a
White-breasted Nuthatch.

A turkey Vulture glared at them.
Back home, Sam helped Grandpa with his Christmas cookies before heading out
to meet Papa.
