We had a good family cross-country ski on fresh snow in the Gatineau
Park. We skied from Kingsmere P7 to Ridge Road to Keogan’s Lodge & return.
David was amazing – lots of stamina, skiing all the way and back, 9 km, with no
poles. Some of the time Maman pulled him or he held on to the chariot but most
of the time he just wanted to ski on his own. Both boys loved the downhills. They
had been downhill skiing a few times recently with their parents, so knew it
was fun and they had no fear. A highlight was spotting a beaver pulling a large
branch and disappearing with it under a culvert on Ridge Road. Today Grandpa
took the photos with his phone.
