On Friday night Grandpa, Barbara and Grant had dinner with
Papa at his place while the boys and Maman were at the rock climbing gym. They
wanted to check out the freshly emerged butterfly, Little Hilda. They had carefully brought the caterpillar
chrysalis back from their trip to southern Ontario and she had emerged as a beautiful
Monarch butterfly. Little Hilda seemed happy to check out her new bouquet of flowers.
Papa showed us his latest butterfly photo.
They also checked out the new stash of compost worms in the
bin in the basement.
When the boys came home, they had a snack and David showed
Grant a game he got for his birthday.
Papa told us he and Sam were going to Sam’s baseball league
party on Saturday where Sam would get the team MVP trophy. Congratulations,
Sam!
