This Monday was a PD Day so the Bowman boys visited 9
Lambert and, after lunch, had a good bike trip at Parc National Plaisance with
Grandpa, Barbara and Grant. The path was
a bit bumpy because of the recent flooding of the Ottawa River but nobody
fell. We had the beautiful wetlands and forest
to ourselves. We decided to stop every kilometer to look for birds and play. Lots
of fun! At kilometre 5 we turned around and pedaled back to the van for our “supper”
sandwiches which we had made together at lunchtime.
At 5pm it was time to drive to Sam’s baseball game at
Parc-Sanscartier in Gatineau. Maman and Papa were there and the boys enjoyed
some spaghetti with them. In this game our team wore orange shirts as the other
team also had red shirts.
Of course, David quickly found a nearby play area and
enjoyed the sand.
