Aunt Wanda invited her nephew Kirk and the boys, Samuel and
David, to cousin Stephanie’s birthday dinner on her deck. They brought fresh eggs from their chickens for Wanda. They joined her grandsons, Valarie and Grant
Throp’s boys Gavin and Miller, for a backyard treasure hunt. Grandpa entertained the boys with a Frisbee
throw in the front yard while Grant Bowman, Kirk, Grant Throp and Bruce Bell did
an excellent job of hiding the treasures one by one: fishing lures, bubbles, bungee
cords chocolate bars, potato chips … Lots of excitement!
Aunt Wanda served a delicious “picnic” dinner.
Then the boys played a game with Uncle Grant and watched TV
for awhile.
Anne (second cousin) and Bruce Fraser arrived and joined the
group for birthday cake. Overall it was a very Happy Birthday!
