The Baseball Playoffs #2

It was raining for the baseball playoff against the Champions de Hull on Wednesday, so it was moved to Friday 8:45pm so the teams played under the lights.

 

Sam played in centre field. A hit went out – he threw it to the shortstop at second base who threw it to third base to get the runner out. He also made a good hit with a speedy run to first base.  Our team played very well and was ahead for half of the game.

 

Unfortunately, one of the boys, Dom, got hit in the cheek by a hard line-drive as he was running from second to third, which caused a delay.  All was well and he was soon playing again.

 

David enjoyed playing in the park with Grant for some of the game.

 

The final game will be on Saturday.
