PD Day at 9 Lambert

Samuel and David spent their PD day with Grandpa, Barbara & Grant.  The day began with a discussion about our upcoming Churchill trip followed by a slide show of Barbara’s time in Churchill in 1952/53.

 

Then Uncle Grant had a game of 21 Aces with the boys.  This is a game that Grant created himself and refined over the years.

 

It was scooter time with a trip to the park.  The boys enjoyed playing on the swings and play structures, which they had to themselves.

 

After a bbq lunch on the deck, we all headed out to Beachconers for ice cream followed by a nature walk on the ridge at Mud Lake.  Migrating birds were scare, but the boys enjoyed the animals they found there.

 

Everyone enjoyed their day!
