Ball and Fathers Day

On Sunday, Grandpa, Barbara and Grant arrived in Chelsea on the way home from the cottage.  David dashed off to the playground and then enjoyed a game on his Leap Pad.  Meanwhile Papa and Sam practiced, ending with a fun game of beach ball. It was Father’s Day so after the practice we had a picnic at the nearby school. Karine treated everyone to pizza and drinks and Barbara served chocolate milk, vegetables and dip and squares. The boys posed with Grandpa and Papa for a “Dad’s” photo.

This Wednesday evening we were back at Parc -de-l’Oiseau Bleue in Gatineau.  A beautiful sunscape was above us. We cheered for Sam #18. After the game, three generations of “Bowman boys” enjoyed pitch and catch together. Then it was time to head for home.

This spring/summer Sam is playing baseball with the Chelsea Cardinals.  Papa is the “pitcher”.  Grant, Grandpa and Barbara went to a game at Parc Oiseau Bleu in Gatineau, cheering for #18.  Maman was cheering too. David had a good time with Grant in the playground. Lots of fun!  Final score was 3-2 for the Gatineau Blue Jays.
