Maman was working this weekend so Papa brought the Chelsea
boys over to 9 Lambert for some fun play time. To welcome the boys, Barbra made
a snow frog with the fresh snow that fell overnight - this would remind Sam of his visit to the
Museum on Friday.
Samuel sat in the rocking chair, showing off a sweatshirt
Grant had worn when he was a boy. David played with some birds and then decided
he would go outside.
Papa pulled David in his sleigh. Grandpa and Barbara looked
after Boots. When we got back home, David decided to take the hard way up the
driveway through the snow. He lost a boot but Papa soon got it back on for him.
Back inside, it was train time. Sam and Grant had built a
station where the train could stop to pick up a passenger. Then it was play in
the box time followed by a rousing game of hockey. Sam caught on quickly and
enjoyed being the goalie. David was a little unsure about the loud action but
he did try playing. Soon he returned his favourite activity - listen to the
birds.
Just before going home for supper and to see Maman, Papa
entertained the boys with some playful throws.
