As Kirk and Karine were off to the NAC to see The Importance of Being Earnest, we had playtime
and supper with the boys. It started with outside fun.
When we came inside, David proudly showed us the new kitchen
he got for his birthday. He likes to shake salt on the food while it is
cooking. He also likes to talk on the phone attached to the cupboard.
Sam and Grandpa enjoyed some chocolate ice cream they had
made together at the cottage this summer. Then Sam waved goodbye to Maman and Papa.
He wanted to show us his new Hallowe'en costume - he loves
being a pirate! Soon the pirate was playing with David's train and then settled
down to watch a video.
Meanwhile, David had fun playing with his new tugboat in the
bath.
Soon it was story time. While Uncle Grant read Sam his
favourite train book, Grandpa and David enjoyed their story time in the rocking
chair. Then the tired boys settled down for a good sleep.
