We decided that we would all visit the Aquarium in Stanley
Park. The boys particularly enjoyed the demonstrations
in the pools: dolphins, penguins, sea otters, sea lions, seals… They were
impressed at the Shark 4-D experience video which featured wind and mist in the
theatre. After the show, it was lunchtime
– we enjoyed our packed lunch outside. We checked out some displays in the
museum and then headed outdoors for the impressive training sessions. A last look
at the museum displays and we left the museum to hike over to English Bay.
We enjoyed exploring the Stanley Park Sea Wall. Grandpa
enjoyed birding. Papa drove to nearby lots so when we were finished our hike we
could all hop in the car and head back to Moss Street.
We were happy to relax after a busy day. Sam suggested we could have chicken pot pie
for supper so Craig and Barbara headed out to Safeway and soon were eating our
dinner together.
