It was another beautiful summer day when Grandpa, Barbara
and Grant dropped in to see the Chelsea boys. Their next door friend Ross was
visiting. The boys were gathered around
the outside fire pit. They got a fire going to burn some brush. Papa had a
photo of a racoon – racoons had found their way into Ross’ chicken coop two
nights in a row while Ross’ family was away. They caught it in a trap and
relocated it in the park, 7 km away.
Today everyone was working at the fire and getting ready for cooking
supper outdoors. Maman arrived home with
steaks and vegetables so they were soon cooking. Yum! After supper, the chicken
“Blue” (has blue feet) snuggled with Sam.
