Aunt Pamela's Birthday Celebration

Aunt Pamela and Uncle Craig arrived from Saskatoon for a visit to Ottawa. The Chelsea boys and parents came over to 9 Lambert to pick up Boots and to have a visit with the Saskatoonies.

 

Samuel showed pictures of a recent trip to the Toronto Zoo - the lions did not roar but they "faisaient dodo". He also showed photos of biking on Toronto Island. It seemed like the whole family enjoyed their visit, although Karine was on course most of the time.

 

The warm weather drew us outside. Karine checked out the telescope on the play structure. Sam was most interested in playing with cars and his little train. He and David checked out Papa's old plastic tractor. David examined Uncle Rick's beer bottle. He held on to his favourite red spatula.

 

Everyone went inside for dinner. Little David chewed on a big apple - pretty good with no teeth!

 

Back on the deck for Pamela's strawberry ice cream birthday cake. Yum! Sam delivered her birthday gifts. He was happy to see there was a Pamela and Samuel gift - a "stack the fish" jenga game with a cat on top - it entertained us all.

 

David wanted to try on Uncle Craig's glasses, so we distracted him with a plastic spoon. It worked!
