After a fun morning fishing, the Chelsea
boys were ready for some softball. David played on his grandparent's lawn and
Samuel had a power nap. The big boys practiced some throws on the street. Uncle
Rick arrived with his ball equipment.
We all headed over to the park where Grandpa had set up a
picnic by the ball diamond. Everyone dug in.
Soon the gloves were on and the pitches and catches began.
Sam and Gavin tested out a pinata, made by Grandpa's
Venturers and decorated by Grant and Craig. The pinata took some big hits and
soon the boys were sharing the loot. Sam tried out his new whistle.
Softball play continued. Karine showed herself to be a real
pro.
The boys had some fun at the park.
Grant Throp had a hockey game, so soon everyone was on their
way home.
