It was a beautiful day for cross-country skiing. Maman was
off on a course. Papa wasn't feeling very well but he rallied for a ski on
Trail 50 to Herridge Lodge. First Samuel wanted to show us the upgrades to his
chair lift, now going to the second storey. Then the boys headed outdoors for a
quick slide.
Soon we were heading out on Trail 50.
It was a perfect day for skiing. We made it to Herridge
Lodge for a pancake brunch warmed up on the woodstove in the lodge. We had a
table upstairs.
After lunch, we went outside to check out the redpolls and
chickadees.
For the trip back, Sam tried pulling the chariot with David
in it for awhile. He loved the "pente raide".
Back at home the boys kept busy sliding, constructing with
lego, playing with Leap Pad and making some Easter bunny cookies to share.
