A Sleepover

September 10-11, 2016

Papa and Maman were on a trip to Montreal this weekend so the Bowman boys had their first sleepover together at 9 Lambert. The boys had a picnic on the deck and a bedtime story with Grandpa.

The next morning was very windy so we decided to try kite flying at the park. Off we all went to the park, with the boys on their scooters. Our old kites didn't fly too well but the boys had fun on the play structure. Even more fun was shoosing through the puddles on the way home.

The boys enjoyed making birthday cards for Papa.

Then we all went for a hike at Mud Lake. A highlight was a turkey on the path, a turtle and a chickadee landing on Sam's hand. Back to 9 Lambert for a snack on the porch.

When Maman and Papa returned, it was time for a fun birthday party with Papa.
