Maple Syrup Time

Maple syrup time is busy for the Chelsea Bowmans. Their tapped trees were producing sap, so it was time to boil the sap using their unique wood stove.

Maman and Samuel made the crepe batter while Papa got his stove going.

Grandpa and Sam had some fun while they waited for their crepes.

When he woke up outside in his carriage,  David showed us how he has almost outgrown it. More big smiles. Then he moved up on the deck with his family.

Karine was serving delicious crepes with ham, asparagus and very fresh maple syrup. We all enjoyed our special lunch while David put on a show in his jumper, assisted by Boots' tail. We appreciated the warm sun, the delicious fresh food and our  family time together.
