Birthday Skating Party

Grandpa and Grant put on their Scottish ties - it was Robbie Burns Day. It was also a big day for Samuel and his friend, Ross, who were celebrating their 4th birthdays. Kirk and Karine's families helped set up for the party in the Meredith Centre in Old Chelsea. We all had a lot of fun.

Soon Ross, his parents and his baby sister, Fiona, arrived  The boys practiced playing hockey.

Some guests arrived and the kids played some more. They also made some cardboard dinosaurs.

Birthday cake time - a hockey cake for Ross and a train cake for Sam. Good with Grandpa's hot chocolate.

Time for skating. Lots of ways to learn to skate...

The zamboni was big hit.

After skating, the boys opened some presents and played some more.
