It was a beautiful
Thanksgiving weekend at the cottage. On their way home Grant, Grandpa and
Barbara dropped in to see the Chelsea boys.
Papa had cut down some
trees and was busy burning branches. Samuel and Grant pitched in. We soon had
some garlic bread toasting over the fire.
Sleepy David got up
from his nap. He smiled when Barbara asked "Quel age as tu?" and he
said "J'ai trois ans!" He
had an early birthday outing to a farm with his Major grandparents and cousins,
so he knew it was birthday time. He surprised us by driving Sam's Jon Deere! As
a driver, he was very attentive and careful. When it was running out of power
he drove it to its garage to get more "gas".
