On Saturday night the Chelsea family
joined us for dinner. David was happy to show us a "computer" made by
Sam.
After supper we filled up the Bowman van and drove to Oxford Mills for
an Ottawa Field Naturalists evening to learn about mudpuppies:

MUDPUPPY NIGHT

Meet:
Fred and Aleta shared their extensive knowledge and
enthusiasm for mudpuppies. Our family really enjoyed the presentation and the
hands on learning experience. The boys had some cookies and examined mudpuppies
in a dish.
The we headed outside to the creek. Sam and David were very
happy to hold the slippery mudpuppies Fred scooped up for us to see. We are
sure it is a evening they will remember.
